Dizziness and Digestive Disorder
About four years ago while taking a yoga class, I got up from a floor position and was so dizzy I thought I was going to be sick. The whole room was spinning. I left that class and never went back. Yoga was not for me! However, that was not my only experience with vertigo. I was at a point where I could not swing on a swing with my children or watch them on rides at a carnival. I felt like I had motion sickness without even moving.
About the same time I was also experiencing digestive problems. Every time I ate, no matter what it was, I felt bloated and gassy. I was drinking a lot of peppermint and ginger teas and tons of water, which seemed to help me a little. There were times I did not want to eat anything because I didn’t like how I felt.
I became a patient of Dr. Z about two and a half years ago after attending one of his seminars. After discussing my symptoms with Dr. Z, he performed a thorough neurological examination. He discovered that the left part of my brain was very fatigued and explained how that affected my balance and digestion.
With simple adjustments, light stimulus to my eyes, and exercises to do at home, Dr. Z has helped me tremendously. Through regular adjustments and nutritional guidance, I no longer have digestive problems and my dizziness is minimal. I notice it only when I am extremely tired or very stressed.
