ADHD and Depression
Ever since I can remember, I have had a problem dealing with stress. Poor stress management was always just an added bonus to my other afflictions. I suffer from severe depression, social disorders, and ADHD. These problems have been a thorn in my side since I was very young and have caused me a great deal of hardship, including being held back in school, feelings of inadequacy, self-punishment, severe drug abuse, and sadness. I have been to psychiatrists, psychologists, rehab, NA meetings, special tutoring, and group therapy. I was put on Prozac, Wellbutrin, and Zybrexa. Nothing seemed to work and only mask the problem. "Here, take this." "Go talk to her." "This will make you feel better." Over time, my confidence grew and I learned to deal with things, but I always had to take a pill to be the nice person I wanted to be.
After surviving a crack cocaine and method amphetamine addiction, not to mention all the other drugs I snorted or induced, you don’t want to keep putting poisons in your body. My body had ten years of drug abuse, and went through two near death experiences, only to have to remain to other "legal" drugs just to function normally. Ha! No thanks!
My treatment with Dr. Zembroski started in July 2001 after I attended his free stress reduction seminar. I heard Dr. Zembroski say the words that were like music to my ears…"Drug free" and "Cure." He seemed so passionate that I decided to give it a shot. After only two months of treatment, I have seen more improvement that I have in over 15 years of different treatment. With some small adjustments and some exercises, my condition has done a complete turnaround. I no longer need any antidepressants. My mood and self-confidence is steadily increasing, as well as remaining fairly stable. I have literally no problem with my attention span and retain information better than ever. It is quite a change and a relief to life-long issues.
